I used to volunteer in a charity shop. We required proof that the item was bought in our shop - our price ticket and receipt. I know this is not the case for you, but there is quite a black market in people shoplifting clothes, then trying to get money for them later. Don't be surprised if the charity shop asks you some searching questions. I just donate items to another charity shop - saves a lot of hassle.Sweetlittledaydreams Is it too cheeky or uncharitable to return something for a refund you bought from a charity shop? Bought two dresses but neither are quite right so even though they were cheaper than buying new I still feel like I'm losing out.Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)

I went out for a walk today and my road is still blocked both ends. The storm hit almost 100mph locally, but I was still surprised to see that hundreds of the trees in the area are down. I do mean hundreds - whole copses have gone. I have been very lucky indeed.GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£2409

@balabooberlies What a haul! Can I ask - do you do anything special with the milk? I have wasted nearly a quart of what my granny used to call "semi-skilled milk", because I couldn't think of anything useful to do with it and I find it goes slightly funny when frozen.Credit card One :£926.60( Oct 21 )(Nov 21 vet bill disaster), £999(Jan 22), £974(Feb 22)

Which area are you in, @AnimalTribe? There were seemingly a lot of trees came down around us during the storm despite us being over in the southwest of Scotland. Glad you are safe and now you know a lot of the deadwood will have been taken out by the winds.AnimalTribe said:I went out for a walk today and my road is still blocked both ends.
