I haven't spent anything this year so far. The usual bills will leave the account tomorrow, we are well stocked up with food and I don't plan to get my purse out of the drawer in the kitchen at all this week.
I spent an hour this morning chopping wood and the fire is roaring. I am feeling very wobbly about work tomorrow so I'm going to put my comfiest PJs on, watch TV with the children and do some breathing exercises.I hope everyone has had a no/low spend start to 2021 x15 -
No spending for us yet this year. I have run out of eggs and milk so will need to pop to the shop at some point but really dont want to. We no longer need to self isolate but feeling a little apprehensive about having to go shopping tbh. I reckon with all the additional food that we got in for christmas which was left uneaten due to having no appetite we can probably get by this month and shouldnt need to spend more then £50.13

Afternoon all, Our weekly shop was just under £50 (4 adult food portions and a 9 year old, plus 2 cats) Fridge looks empty to most but there's lots that need using up. Randomly some green vanilla frosting from an online cupcake decorating lesson.
I also have some marmalade, (Only one who eats it ) 4 over ripe bananas ,two nets of oranges and a punnet of grapes. Sainsburys gave me all my fresh very short dated fresh last week. Marmalade and banana tray bake with Green frosting. Fruity porridge tomorrow.
realised I might get Sse home warm discount so applied. I need to find pet insurance or create an emergency fund. We had one of our moggies pts a month ago , he had symptomless cancer, by which time it was too late, £700 vets bill and no beloved kitty to bring home.
Boilers on the need replacing asap, we qualify for a new one, but no ones getting back to us, assuming no one wants to come into peoples home. Thankfully it works sometimes!
