The 100k could be transferred by BACS or CHAPS. BACS can take 3 days CHAPS can be done same day but the fee is higher. Entirely possible buyer has sent confirmation of transfer but money not yet in solicitors account.

As the flat is empty, I assume that there are no massive consequences if the buyer fails to complete? You’ll serve a completion notice, keep the deposit and remarket.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
