Newbie Saving Question

Hello
I apologize in advance for what probably will be the same questions ask before.
I've had notification that my Virgin savings rate has been cut to 0.50 or something like that and others on this forum have also posted the same messages, and i just don't know what to do about it, do i just suck it up and deal with the drop in interest or should i be looking at something else, i do have a Virgin fixed cash ISA that has a couple of more years to run and i guess i can't add to that.
I'm not too knowledgeable about other aspects of saving etc outside bank or building society and i don't take financial things in too well.
Thank you for any crumbs of advice

Check these out for the accounts currently paying the best rates. Rates are low and aren't looking to increase anytime soon so there aren't really many options at present. Probably easier to leave your cash where it is at the minute as it's a fair bit of effort for an extra £10 over the course of the year IMO.

If you want easy access to the savings then you are not going to get much more than 0.5%.
Unless you buy some premium bonds which pay on average 0.8% to 1%.
Plenty of threads on here about PB's and an article on MSE .https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/premium-bonds/
