Currys business refunds

Hi I was hoping to get some help with a refund from currys. We paid for software to go with our new laptop. We got the laptop fine but didn’t receive the activation key. I spoke, messaged and emailed currys over 2 weeks and still didn’t get my key. We couldn’t run our business like this so I went directly to Microsoft and ordered a free trial and organized purchasing our software elsewhere. I asked currys for a refund and have just been refused this. They said their suppliers told them the software had been activated. As we never received the key, this was not us. Please help me to get our refund as I will not pay for something I haven’t received.

As this is a business transaction you need to look at the terms of the contract and if they have broken them, take the appropriate action. Consumer Rights laws don't apply in this instance so you're dealing with Currys without the backing of those laws.0
