Have you followed all the advice about grants and cheaper tariffs that you've already been given?
If so, what were your results?

Hi so I made a typo earlier in my comments earlier the electricity costing 140-150 a week it was supposed to be a month and upwards of 200 in winter. I'm an electrician so I can appreciate all of your comments about energy suppliers and looking at the meter correctly ect. The situation is my mum has an old exhaust air heat pump which has been installed into the incorrect property. I'm here really to see what help my mum can get in terms of grants and help towards getting a new boiler practically free of charge because she cannot use the one she has at the moment its expensive and inefficient in terms of warmth. She is a pensioner and receives guarantee credit.

Electricity is available for under 11p per kWh so there's no reason to be paying silly money.
