paying of debt on suspended credit card

I wanted to know once i've paid off my credit card debt would the company be obligated to reinstate my  credit card still having the same credit spending limit ?

    No, they're no obligated to reinstate it.  A card can be withdrawn at any time.

    Why was it initially suspended - at your request? Or through some payment difficulties? There is a chance that once you've settled the debt they'll just close the account if any of your previous history was particularly negative in their view.
