I'm not sure whether it is a scam or not, but there are plenty of cheap share dealing platforms around that have been around for many years, so you don't need to take a chance on someone that no one has ever heard of. Rather than buy Amazon shares, why not buy a mutual fund that holds a good percentage of Amazon shares. Such as the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF?
This has about 5% of its value invested in Amazon, but also holds about 500 different quality stocks from the USA including Apple, Microsoft, Alphabet (aka Google), and Facebook. This will de-risk your investment significantly. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.1 -
I’ve never heard of it and I did a quick google and nothing obvious came up. I would say if it’s not accessible via a link from Amazon’s own website then it’s immediately dubious .4

I'm no expert but there are lots of red flags here. You were "on a focus group" and someone showed you an "original item" from a well known TV show and told you that "an automated Amazon stock trading platform" was a good way to invest? And you believed that meant you would be buying shares in Amazon? I think you need to be very very careful what you agree to, who you give your money to, and what you believe of what you're being told.7.25 kWp PV system (4.1kW WSW & 3.15kW ENE), Solis inverter, myenergi eddi & harvi for energy diversion to immersion heater. myenergi hub for Virtual Power Plant demand-side response trial.2

Perhaps the purpose of the focus group was to measure gullibility in terms of how susceptible people are to scams that seek faux credibility by citing well-known names (aka the Martin Lewis effect)?
Searching for the quoted text brings up https://www.facebook.com/112902167105130/posts/appearing-on-the-this-morning-show-charlie-brake-discovered-an-automated-amazon-/152233043172042/, which in turn links to https://climaxnewsroom.com/love-islands-charlie-brake-reveals-how-he-made-his-400-million-fortune-he-claims-anyone-can-do-it-shows-the-this-morning-show-how/
Allegedly, when Holly Willoughby tried this "Within 3 minutes, she had successfully increased her initial funds to £323.18. That’s a £143.18 profit.", which by an amazing coincidence is the same MO and exactly the same 'profit' mentioned in another version of the scam nearly two years ago at https://propertyindustryeye.com/britains-youngest-millionaire-caught-by-scammers-after-tv-interview/ ("within three minutes, she had apparently made a £143.18p profit"). Identical bogus claims are made by other variants, unsurprisingly including crypto scams.
OP, assuming you're genuine rather than faking sincerity to actually promote this crock, ignore it and anything like it....8 -

Original report was of a Charlie Brake on this moring showing holly how to investI assume you are looking on Facebook? So, fine for posting your holiday snaps, organising a birthday party, or saying hi to your mates, your mum, your gran. For financial advice, steer WELL clear. Far too many scams of which this is clearly one. Dont click on anything financial on it. Nothing at all. Facebook will let any old scammer advertise on there as long as they get paid. Some will look good. Soem will be real but they re mixed i among the scams. Give it a big miss.If you wish to buy Amazon shares you can do that without need of a "focus group" . I think they are about £2,500 each.is that what you want to do?But bottom line if you cant understand the difference between a (even if not a scam) platform that is hosted on a rented out Amazon computer facility, and shares in Amazon the company itself, you've got a lot of learning to do. A LOT.5 -
there are automated schemes being offered which are based upon whatever people think will attract attention, including Amazon, Google, Tesla and Bitcoin. i would strongly suggest avoiding such schemes. but the underlying assets can be well worth holding.2

I think that an "automated trading platform" is one where you pay your money in and the platform does the trading automatically, making £000s of profit without anyone needing to lift a finger. I read about one a while ago that claimed to have got the dragons fighting over it on Dragons' Den. Definite scam.
If you seriously want to buy Amazon shares, there are lots of genuine trading platforms mentioned in other threads in this forum but, if you are new to investing, you should start with a small amount that you can afford to lose.0 -
I was shown an advert for something similar just this morning.
When I scrolled riiiight the way down to the bottom of the page, past all the 'user' reviews and testimonials, I found this interesting nugget:
