Can anyone recommend a coat for my little Jack Russell?
She has one that velcro fastens around the neck and belly but this manages to slip to one side as she walks.

The Ancol Muddy coat has additional elastic straps which go round the top of hind legs to keep it better in place.

I use one that has leg holes for the front two legs that the dog steps into and then it zips up along the back. Best one yet.

First of all you could stitch the neck to the correct fit and do away with the velcro. That might make the coat fit better. My dog coats have tape that is attached centre back, goes underneath and then ties on the back in a bow. They are quite secure. They will not wear the elastic that goes round the legs.
I have several coats, Danish design 2-in-1 that have a wide chest piece and fasten from under tummy to the back with velcro- only problem is that the chest part gets very mucky if it is muddy. Coat cannot slip around due to the design. This coat widely available from different suppliers- and at different prices!
