Nectar Amex “More Points”

Hi there

Last couple of months I have been earning extra nectar points on my nectar Amex - but I don’t know how or why! 

They are labelled as “Nov 20 More Points” and this month it was 1500 points in addition to my normal earnings.

Not complaining, just curious as to why I am earning them so I can continue to do whatever is triggering them! 

Any ideas would be great.

I think Sainsbury’s and Argos are running a promotion at the moment whereby you earn extra Nectar points when you spend in certain categories. Applies not just to the Amex but all Nectar members. Could this be where the points came from?

Thank you for your reply, but I don’t think so. I haven’t spent in Argos / Sainsbury’s. The points come through on my actual Amex statement which then get transferred to my nectar in a lump at the end of the month.
