Amalgamating card limits

I have just finished paying up a Santander 0% card and no longer need it, but it has a very useful whooping great limit on it. I also have a Santander Zero card that I like to use on foreign trips but it has a smaller limit.
If I were to close the 0% card would Santander look kindly on my request to " transfer " the limit from one card to another. I know you cant transfer a balance between the same provider but does anybody have any experience of amalgamating limits ?

I asked before to get some of my Santander Everyday credit limit to my Santander Zero without success. I can't remember what they said but definitely didn't work.
Online banking also had the option (about 15 months ago) to increase the limit on the Everyday card but not the Zero one. No idea if the option is available for either in the current climate.0 -
Possibly Some lenders are more amenable that others and it depends on your risk.
Give them a call.0 -
The option to do it online is not available anymore , so think a call to Santander will be next , but am not too hopefulSuperAllyB said:I asked before to get some of my Santander Everyday credit limit to my Santander Zero without success. I can't remember what they said but definitely didn't work.

mine allows an increase now. On a desktop it'll either allow an increase or the slider will be at your max limit.Costabit said:
