BOS and Halifax online and app

Just wondering whether anyone else has noticed this.

Up until a few days ago, I could see all my BOS accounts in Halifax online and app, and vice versa. Most, but not all, account management functions were the same, too. For instance, I could transfer money between BOS and Halifax accounts, but in BOS online/app, I never could track my Halifax Reward Extras.

Now I have noticed even further divergence:
  • BOS online/app doesn't show recently opened Halifax current accounts (still shows older ones), Halifax investments, or Halifax credit card
  • Halifax online/app doesn't show BOS current accounts or savings accounts
In essence, it seems that you now need to use two separate logins. Not an issue, just sad to see the two system diverge now.

I'm the opposite. All BOS accounts have appeared on Halifax app.

They have been messing about with system upgrades which seems to be impacting on profiles with the same details getting merged together.

*If all your BOS accounts don't appear together it would appear that you have 2 BOS customer profiles and could therefore have 2 BOS/Halifax log ins if you register for online banking using an account number from each list.
  • Both apps seem unchanged for me.  I can still see BOS current account from Halifax app and I can still see Halifax savings account from BOS app.  Which is good because it's a handy feature.

Mine are all still viewable in both apps as expected
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?
  • I only have Halifax app and can see all Halifax and Bos current accounts and savings accounts.
I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
    There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.

I think I know what may have happened with my accounts. Too difficult to explain here.

Still, even if I could see all my BOS and Halifax accounts in either online/app, there are now differences in what you can do with the accounts. For example, I can't see the Halifax Reward Extras tracking in BOS. Never mind. I just have to treat BOS and Halifax as two different banks.

All my BoS & Halifax accounts (1 of each current & 1 of each reg savers) appear in both apps as before.
I was never able to track Halifax Rewards in BoS app.
    Halifax app was updated today
  • Anyone know how I can stop Halifax accounts showing in BOS app and vice versa?

Unless you managed to get two entirely different profiles for your BOS and your Halifax accounts, you can't. AFAIK, it is not possible to change the profile once it's set up, and the setting up happens when you apply for the first account for a given name and address.
