PLEASE HELP! Council Parking Fine - Bailiffs Instructed

Yes kept in the vehicle but not necessarily displayed. Its a big thing to leave floating around the dashboard when moving so probably put somewhere else in the vehicle. Such as glove box, door pocket or even on a seatUptown_Boy said:Unless of course the badge always remains in the vehicle, which I guess some people do this.0 -
In addition to PePiPoo, I have found Sheila at bailiffadviceonline.co.uk helpful for a similar matter. The website alone is helpful, but if you ring or email she is very friendly and approachable.3

I didnt read it as that.
the OOT can be objected to by the council, and they usuall y do object. It then costs money to get to the next step, from memory1 -
My car wasn't displaying a blue badge as you're not allowed to leave it in the car, only when you are parked up if you have driven somewhere.A_Lert said:Bailiffs cannot take a vehicle displaying a valid blue badge. I would be complaining that they even threatened to do so.0 -
I have already submitted a statement to the TEC and the council have rejected so I have no right to appeal anymore.Coupon-mad said:I think Councils always reject OOT applications so this is normal, but there is a way to press ahead anyway to ask the TEC to consider it and pepipoo are the absolute experts.0 -
That's right. The blue badge wasn't displayed as you're not allowed to if you are parked at home.unforeseen said:
But if the bailiffs were at the OP's House then it is doubtful that the blue badge would be on display at the time of the threat so they would not be aware of that fact.A_Lert said:Bailiffs cannot take a vehicle displaying a valid blue badge. No it doesn't as you're not allowed to and if you do you can have your blue badge revoked.Uptown_Boy said:Unless of course the badge always remains in the vehicle, which I guess some people do this.0 -
Yes apparently so. They said they have a copy of all the letters they allegedly sent me.D_P_Dance said:Does the council have proof that they sent all of those reminders?0 -
I called the council today asking if there is ANYTHING at all that I can do and was told there isn't and to just wait to hear back from court. She said it will most likely be rejected and it will go back to the enforcement agency who will back banging on my door for full payment as they already told me they won't even accept instalments.Coupon-mad said:Wait a mo, isn't the OP simply saying that it's been reset by the TEC after the OOT application and the Council have rejected the appeal and now it's time to take it to the Adjudicator?
This is normal, if so, and the OP must appeal to the Adjudicator, who is independent and they are very good.0 -
There is really nothing to progress here.
Continue to resolve your case on Pepipoo.
