Hermes attempted delevery

Bought a laptop bag off ebay. Today email from Hermes & Ebay tracking show courier claims to have attempted delivery 3 times today, latest at 12.22pm and has now returned parcel.
The delivery address is retail premises which were open from 9am.
How do I deal with this as courier is either lying or has tried to deliver to wrong building : never had problems before with deliveries to my place of work.

The contract is between the seller and the delivery courier so you will need to speak to the seller.I do believe it’s Hermes policy to send back to the sender after three delivery attempts.1

Couriers are swamped and likely the courier hasnt gone near the premises today.
Wait and see what updates tomorrow,likely the courier is not going to that area today.
