Kitchen TV

I would like to mount a smart tv in my Kitchen ( 40-50in)  but it will be a massive help if I can do this without the use of an Ariel or Sat cable.
Am I right in thinking I could view most popular terrestrial channel's via a Firestick?
Any suggestions as to make this idea  feasible appreciated...............also anyone recommend a decent tv for £200-£350.

TV and firestick 4k will meet all your requirements, or tv only with android operating system will also do,you can install the freeview app and many others to watch for free.

We use a basic Now tv stick plugged into the hdmi port and power it from the usb socket but anything like that would do the job.

The only downside you will encounter is that programmes local to your region aren't transmitted via the Internet, so no local news at 6.30pm on BBC1 for example (just barking dogs and people dancing). On ITV you get the London local news programme.

There should be TV that will have wireless streaming and most main options built in.

What viewing angles are needed for the TV?
    How bright is the kitchen?
Sound,  will that need to be decent or any plans for external speakers?

Have a look at this LG and then compare your short list around that

At the 58"/50" range the budget will limit choice.
