Missing International payment / South Africa

Hi everyone,
I am after some advice; I transferred money from my UK bank account to my husband's South African bank account and it has never arrived. I have opened a case with my bank and they have advised there is nothing they can do until the South African bank responds to them. My husband has contacted the South African bank and they say they can't do anything until they receive the money. What are my rights to recover the funds? £400 is not an amount to just lose.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you

You have just to wait out the banks investigations.leigharcher said:Hi everyone,

Odd's on the transfer will have gone via a few parties. So could be stuck somewhere.
How long ago was the transfer & how long since you spoke to your bank?Life in the slow lane2 -
Thanks for your reply. Money was transferred 2nd of November and I contacted the UK bank on 9th of November so more than a month now. I will be patient and hopefully, it sorts itself out.
