    The 'back box' is separate, and it's the usual way to mount such things as sockets, light switches and room stats.

    Fair chance there isn't one, tho', in which case you need to safely isolate the earth wire too, in case it touches anything. But, if there IS a back box, there will be a terminal in there for it - that's where it goes.
