amazon reward

Options
Hi,
It says you get £30 if you sign up to amazon credit card. Is there a way to apply for it again if I already have an amazon credit card from a few years ago?

  • Not according to the terms and conditions.
  • £30. hmmm. I nearly pulled the trigger on this at £20. Might just get it now. I really have no use for the card beyond the free £30 though. I see it as a bit wasteful.

If you don't shop on Amazon fair enough - but if you do, the points can soon build up into a free voucher. I've had several £10 voucher bonuses this year on top of my original £30 reward.

Just applied. accepted. £30 up towards the wifes Christmas pressie. Not bad.  :)
I look forward to my credit "score/s" dropping off a cliff.  :D:D:D

Especially if you have Prime, in which case all Amazon purchases earn points equivalent to 1.5% of your purchase.

"Off a cliff"? I wouldn't have expected it to be that bad. Mine did drop a bit after I applied for my most recent credit card (coincidentally, an Amazon one), but not hugely. And experience suggests that they'll recover fairly quickly. Mine dropped quite a bit, though nothing desperate, after I obtained a new credit card and two current accounts in the space of three months. They were back to normal within six months.

In any case, as I expect you've heard many times, it's the history that counts, not the score.

Yeah I mean that was my whole point. It was a joke, tounge in cheek. I couldn't care less what happens to my scores. Just pointing our the ridiculousness of the score. I thought the laughing emojis would have made that much clear.
