External door in detached garage

Hoping this is the right board... moved into our new build property in August and looking to put a door from the garden into our garage (detached structure but shared with neighbours who don’t have an issue). Obviously there are restrictive covenants in place as with every new build estate, but as we will be putting in a lintel and pillars, we won’t meet the ‘change anything that will put at risk the support of the walls’ and it isn’t an additional structure... we are currently in discussions with the developer over poor brick structure on the main house which is a major issue so I don’t want to give them an inch.... any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Sorry, it is not clear what the question is here. Are you looking for guidance how to get permission, or what sort of door to fit?The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0

If you're worried adding the door will prejudice your workmanship claim on the house, wait for the house claim to be settled first?0
