Hi all, I don’t know if this is in the right category in the forum, but here goes...
I am selling my late fathers property in Egypt but I am hitting brick walls when it comes to trying to get the money transferred to the uk!
It is being bought with Egyptian Pounds.
Has anyone got any ideas or advice on how I can transfer funds to the UK?

What sort of "brick walls"? Is this something to do with Egyptian rules about transferring money out of the country?0

My understanding is that there are currently no foreign exchange restrictions in Egypt, but it is nevertheless made deliberately very difficult to export money. You may wish to find a buyer who is able to pay you in Sterling.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
