From pre-pay to credit meter
Hiya
I’m moving from Boost to Octopus on 17/12 for gas and electricity, I currently have smart 2 meters and Boost has told me that my meters will automatically change from pre-pay to credit meters at midnight on the day of the switch.
Can anyone confirm if this is correct?Moving from Boost due to very poor experience so don’t really trust what they say and am concerned about being left without supply in December whilst working from home 😩
thanks
Gab

Sounds about right as the chances are the pp smart aren't compatible so would just act like a normal credit meter. We can send people out to space, but simple things like this is asking too much!1

HI,If that does happen make sure you have a monthly DD set up, or be prepared for the bills.Provide at least monthly readings, to avoid estimates, and set up a wee spreadsheet to keep an eye on usage and cost.1
