Euro car parks PCN

Long story short, sadly parking machines are above me these days and I do struggle with them.
I parked in a private car park whilst on holiday in Norfolk in October. The swan inn Horning has a private car park run by euro car parks. Despite paying and displaying a ticket I recieved an £85 fine in the post as I did not put my number plate details in the machine.
I sent off an image of the ticket proving I paid, but sadly I have recieved a response rejecting my appeal. Now saying I need to pay £20. I know this is much less, however out of principle I'm refusing to pay it. I feel sorry for all the people that have been ripped off by this company in the past.
They have said I have come to the end of their complaints procedure and must pay within 14 days.
Now I am going to email them that I will be passing their corresponding and my evidence to my local mp and the mp for broadlands in Norfolk where I parked.
I will also be emailing Mitchell and Butlers pub chain to let them know about the fraudulent company working for them.
I was going to send off to POPLA too, but am.wondering if they are a waste of time as they work for these car park companies.
I was wondering what my rights are? I am happy to go to court if needs be, I used to have debt issues many years ago so am not worried about debt recovery agencies trying their luck as I will send them away as I known they can only demand money with a ccj.
I'm happy to court if I know that the law is on my side but I'm unsure it is. I just think morally they ate wrong as they know I paid, they are just trying to take money on technicalities. How low?
Any help would be appreciated thank you

Read the BPA CoP 2020 edition where that £20 for a major keying error came from !! You have the right to pay it , or not
You have the right to go to Popla where a loss would revert it back to the £100 PCN and signage charge , or whatever the default daily tariff was if different
You have the right to plead your case in court , where a loss would cost you about £200
You have the right to follow plan A in the newbies FAQ sticky thread , a landowner complaint to the CEO of the pub chain , this is your best option , a legitimate paying customer should have it cancelled by the pub and it's called plan A for that reason , it's before B , C or D1 -
Paying £20 is annoying but is worth considering, unless by this you mean you are in a wheelchair and couldn't see the keypad:sadly parking machines are above me these days and I do struggle with them.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think we very much need to know what you mean about parking machines being above you these days. Please explain, it'll help a lot with context.1

Sorry, when I mean above me; I mean the ability to use them as they get more technical. Funny enough I was in yarmouth all week and had issues with other parking machines all week.
One I wanted to pay by card, but it would only take coins which I had none of, or i had to download a parking app.
The latter I managed after a long struggle. Then I had this machine in Horning which I tried to work out how to use, eventually managing to get a ticket. But without inputting my registration.
I am too stubborn to pay the £20. I just find it just disgusting for a company to still try and charge when they know I did the right thing and paid. I could understand if I had just tried to get away without paying fir a ticket.
I will go to court if I have to, but I will also do everything I can possibly do to bring this company down. I am 45 and normally pretty good with technology, so it makes me wonder how many people older than me are being ripped off by this company and many others.
Complaints will be going to the 2 mps and the pub chain. I feel the POPLA people will be most likely on the parking companies side, as without them they wouldn't exist.

If/when you pay (and the £20 is the cheaper option) don't forget to ask for a refund of the parking fee you paid and can prove via receipt.1

If you're struggling in understanding the detail of a pay and display machine, how on earth are you going to be able to handle all the research work and drafting in terms of formulating your written defence, your witness statement and the collection and submission of your evidence? 'Going to court' doesn't mean rocking up on the day, having a bit of a rant and hoping that the Judge understands your stance and will side with you. There's a shed-load of work to do before anyone gets anywhere near court with a credible chance of success. But if you lose, it's £200, or a credit-trashing CCJ for 6 years if your principles still remain stubbornly strong.I admire your stance, but there's weeks of work ahead of you - and you won't know when it will all kick off. The PPC has 6 years in which to commence legal proceedings against you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
