Best Online Mortgage Broker?

Where I can apply online and track progress etc and not have to spend hours on endless calls - ideally execution only, but certain lenders only offer products through brokers you see.

Most brokers wont allow execution only as most lenders dont accept them.

Any reason why it needs to be an online broker? Most local brokers will offer you a better level of service, and realistically there are only going to be a few updates - application in/valuation instructed/lender wants extra info/mortgage offered. The trackers are only as good the people updating them. I prefer to speak to people even if it is only once at the beginning but I have customers I have never spoken to.

I think it’s more important to find a good broker than one that you’ve stated?
With a good broker you won’t have to spend hours on endless calls? You’ll just receive updates or requests for information

Execution only - of the two big "online brokers", I know for a fact that Habito does not do execution only and I'm 99% sure that Trussle doesn't either.
Applying online - if you want to do everything online with no calls, then Habito is the best in that regard (imho). Online fact find, straight on to chat with a broker and then on everything is through IM or emails, unless you want to talk. Trussle is similar, though without the online chat option.
Tracking progress - If you mean application > offer > completion, the offer>completion is largely conveyancing so not much to do with the broker and afaik, no broker provides an online progress update on that. App>offer, the intermediate stages at the lender's side and while a broker could talk to the lender and find out where it's at, or look up the lender's online tracker, afaik neither Habito nor Trussle provides this info on their customer page.
If you simply want my opinion on what the best "online broker" is, I'd say Habito followed by Trussle, both on the MSE recommended list. And for straightforward remo cases like your's, any one of them should do a good job, as would most other half-decent brokers.

Do you have plenty of time on your side?
The last remortgage I sent to them took 7 weeks to offer. Both applicants employed on 6 figure salaries, 58% LTV they were the closest example I have seen to the ones we get in our exams I have ever come across and I have known the couple for 3-4 years.

It was the case that stopped me sending Platform anything for the time being.

They just seem to have a great two year fixed with no fee and also my rate doesn't run out until March. If I take out additional borrowing for home improvements will this be added to my monthly payment, I know HSBC like to keep all separate sub accounts which I find annoying....
I have also noticed Platform do VERY GOOD existing customer switching deals which are much better than any available on the open market, which seems unusual but beneficial.

Brokers, especially good ones are invaluable. Although I knew which product I wanted and he concurred it was the cheapest at the time and managed to get in there fore it was withdrawn.

however it is not always the best rates, also the path of least resistance must also be taken into account

@IAMIAM Any additional borrowing / further advance is almost always a second mortgage part, I've never seen it just added to an ongoing fix.
