Court claim parking ticket

Hi, can I please ask for some advice. I received a PCN in August 2019, for a car I had sold to my son in June 2019. The car was never at any time parked at the location stated, but he had driven through the car park as a short cut, without stopping. My son is happy to defend this ticket. However, upon receipt I contacted Civil Enforcement Ltd and informed them that I was not the registered keeper of the vehicle and not the driver, they wouldn't listen. A few more letters arrived from then, and ZZPS , who wouldn't listen either. I eventually had a letter from their solicitors QDR, I called them and told them that I wasn't the keeper or driver, they basically said that as far as they were concerned it was down to me to prove this. I contacted the DVLA and got them to send me a letter confirming this. It would appear there was a delay their end in swapping the details over, hence Civil Enforcement had been informed I was the keeper. In the meantime the registration plate had been swapped over, as the one on the car at sale was a personalised one. The letter had the new registration on it. I called ZZPS and informed them of this, they told me to send the DVLA letter, with a letter from me explaining the different registration, to prove I was not liable. I sent this off and heard nothing else, until a claim form arrived from the court. I have completed the acknowledgment of service and now need to complete the defence. A few things:
1. They issued a PCN 5 days after the alleged offence, no notice to keeper.
2. The PCN did not ask me to name the driver, although I did that on the letter I sent as my son wants to deal with this, as I have no liability.

Is it enough for me to inform the court that I was not the registered keeper at the time, and my attempts to make CEL, ZZPS and QDR of this, or do I have to lodge a full defence.

Thanks in advance

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?

Upon what date did you file an Acknowledgment of Service?
Your MCOL Claim History will have the definitive answer to that.

With a Claim Issue Date of 20th November, and having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 23rd December 2020 to file your Defence.
That's three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look at the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

See later post for corrected information.

I think it should be Monday 21st, being 33 days after the issue date of 16th November; (19th being a Saturday).

Thanks @Castle. For some unknown reason I picked the wrong date from the post.
    Here is the correct information...
