Wrong. I informed Enterprise of the vide, they asked to see it, and I duly sent on to them. The response from Enterprise is that I am still liable for any damage up until the next inspection of the car - in this case over 24 hours later.
A solicitors advice was to tell them I will not pay, and that no court would enforce their demand.
I'm rather hoping this is a mistake on their part, as going to court will be a pain.
Has anyone else had this problem with Enterprise Car Club?

Enterprise Car club demanding damage payment despite evidence showing

I'm an enterprise car club user.
I received a notification that I was liable for damage during a car hire, and that I would be charged the £750 excess. Basically, someone has driven past and clipped a wing.
At the end of each rental, I video the key computer, which shows the time, and then continue to video the rest of the car to show its state at the end of the rental. It shows the area is free of any damage; so I should be in the clear. Right?

You are bound by the terms and conditions of hire.
Check them and see when your liability for damage ends.

No liability post-hire. Obliged to return the car in the same state at the end of the hire period.
It would be nonsense if you were liable until then next rental - that could be days afterwards. The road where the vehicle is parked is very busy.
I think it's a mistake. Customer Care is investigating, so I'm assuming sanity will reign.0 -
The terms and conditions on their website look pretty clear that once you park in the designated space and lock the car your liability for damage ends.
https://www.enterprisecarclub.co.uk/gb/en/terms/terms-and-conditions.html#retail
"5. Upon gaining access to a Vehicle you are responsible for the condition of the Vehicle until it is returned to its designated parking space, the keys are secured in the Vehicle and the Vehicle is locked."
I would suggest going back to them with their own terms and conditions and your video of the undamaged car and politely ask them to withdraw their request.4 -
They've withdrawn it, but it took a lot of chasing to make them do it.
If you use the Car Club - make sure you video the state of the car at the end of the hire, otherwise, Enterprise will claim that you are effectively responsible for the car until the next hire.4
