CRS Hassling me with texts, automated phone calls and emails.

I recently received an email from a company calling themselves CRS. They claim that I owe £16, this being a sum that they say is owed to Bristol Energy since I transferred to British Gas earlier this year. I responded to their email explaining that their claim was incorrect due to their claim that my debt was for gas supplied some weeks after I had made the transfer. Bristol Energy have ceased trading BTW. They ignored this email from me and since have been bombarding me with emails, text messages and now automated phone calls. I'm reluctant to contact them directly, I'm annoyed at their presumption that I owe them money and have no intention of justifying myself to someone who can't even be bothered to answer my email or even bother to send me details of the sum that they say is owed to them. What an absolute shower.

You only need respond to them if they write to you, a £16 debt doesn't buy many stamps.

Are they calling your mobile or landline ?
If mobile block the number. And texts or emails you just delete.1 -
On android 11 you can flag texts as spam and they won't deliver them, the system also has a basic spam filter that puts texts into a spam folder. I'm sure Apple will catch up in a couple of years like normal1
