Debenhams / Clarins Pre Paid course - will i get money back?

I have bought and partially used Clarins Spa course of treatments in Debs Glasgow - £280 worth in total for a buy 4 get a 5th treatment free. My sister and brother in law have got similar courses.
Given Covid, most of this year I have not been able to use (they only started taking booking a month ago!)
Where do we stand? I know our contract with with Debenhams, and not Clarins, as I have already challenged this earlier this year!
Can we use the value of the voucher to buy goods in exchange? Or do we have to try to schedule in the treatments before Debenhams shuts  or Clarins withdraws from the store?
Anyone got any advice?
Thanks!
EJ

Ask Debenhams, they're the only ones who will know.
  • I have £60 in Debenhams gift vouchers but cannot see a way to spend them online. Contact with Debenhams is by email only and they are warning of long delays in reply.  Any ideas?

Debenhams set to close – your gift card and refund rights explained (moneysavingexpert.com)

On Monday MSE reported that Debenhams are still accepting gift cards
  • Tks for the reply.  These are paper vouchers with a serial number, the gift cards referred to are different and come with a pin.  I guess mine can only be used in store.

I didn't think any stores were still issuing paper gift vouchers! They have never been able to be spent online, so you would of had to go in store anyway.
  • Quite a few retailers accept gift vouchers for online purchases. You just enter the voucher numbers.  These were not issued by Debenhams.  They are Freedom Reward vouchers from Barclaycard who have today kindly offered to take them back and will re-issue to an alternative supplier of my choice.
  • ejmca, did you get it sorted? I was in the same situation and got my money back in form of Clarins on line voucher.
