What does insurance cover when a drain collapses?

I suspect the end wall of the house is subsiding and the cause may be a drain collapse, although I've had not problem with the drains and there's no smell. I know standard house insuance won't cover the repair to the drain (rats) but will they pay to put the subsudence right?

Need to read the exclusions under the subsidence section of your policy, normally they are things like bedding down on a new build, issues caused by major works you’ve had done, costal erosion etc and a the resultant subsidence of a collapsed drain would be covered.0

It will depend on why the drain collapsed? what work if any was done ? when it was done? what you declared to your home insurance company? What level of cover you have? Hate to say it but no-one here will be able to answer as there are too many variables. You honestly need to speak to your insurance company and perhaps get a report as to when, how and why there is subsidence. Good LuckHappiness, Health and Wealth in that order please!:A0
