    Customer update on servicing

    https://www.pru.co.uk/existing-customers/our-covid-response/servicing-update/

Our servicing teams are extremely busy and we’re aware some customers are experiencing lengthy delays. We apologise for any inconvenience this may be causing. This is not the service we want to provide. Please be assured, we’re actively working to resolve this position as soon as we can.

There are other ways to get information about your policy. For most of our products, you can manage your policy online by logging in or registering for your Online Service. Registration is easy and only takes five minutes – all you need is your policy number. There are a small number of products not currently available online, and these are listed on the registration page.

Prudential has had this information (variations of this) for many, many months; we must be approaching a 6 month anniversary.  The issue has arisen due to the catastrophe of implementing their new IT system.

Well DH had a reply from the Pru, by letter yesterday, so pretty quick.     It's basically an update of the current valuation, along with information about what his options are.   The papers sent show his retirement date now as his 55th birthday.

Not the actual forms to apply for a small pot withdrawal, so he still has to make contact again.   They quote a phone number!

He'll give that number a try first and see how far he gets.

    Serious good luck with that.
