Scottish Power 31 Dec 2021 fix. Cheap EXISTING CUST deal

Saw this headline in the weekly e-mail. Quickly went to the Cheap Energy Club to see if I could grab it as I am an existing Scottish Power Customer. Stands out at the top of the list as the Recommended Deal. At £64 per annum MORE than my current deal. Then comes the regular list with Outfox the Market at the top, able to save me £20 pa. But not making much sense with £60 penalties for leaving SP early. That's 5 minutes of my life I can't get back.

Cheap energy club is dangerous it is based on commission and much better rates are always available elsewhere. I never use it now. Better trying Which or CAB where a whole of market unbiased list is produced. Scottish Power have terrible customer service so I would always avoid them. Only use MSE for the forums now. Don't trust the rest of it or the one whose name heads it up1
