Planning Permission and Building Regulation

Just received the search results,  one of the entries is from 2014 -  X/XXXX/XX/XX Conditional Permission, Two Storey Rear Extension
Building Notice XX/XX/XXXX  28/01/2014 Unconfirmed, Two storey rear extension and associated alterations Not available
Is this the way approved Planning and building regulations entries are made?  Should I push further and get the relevant information?
Nothing else has come up on searches and not notices issues.

Have a look at the local planning portal. You can see all documents related to a planning application, including any objections. Its free.

Managed to find the whole planning application and the decision.
The Building notice - just has the submission data and 5 weeks date, there is no completion or anything further.  Not sure what to do!

  • Are you concerned the extension was poorly constructed? What does your surveyor say?
Or are you concerned the council might enforce missing planning consent and/or Building regs? Too late now. 2014 is 6 years ago

There was nothing flagged up in the Homebuyer report and nothing I felt during the two visits.
Is it possible that the council might come and bite me, if I don't have the necessary sign off?

    In a word, no.
