Early Exit Fees

Hi, I have duel fuel with Eon which ends in a month's time.  It has an early exit fee of £60.
Am I right in saying I can switch to another supplier within 49 days of the end of the tarrif without incurring the early exit fee?

Yes

I believe that you can switch between E.On tariffs without paying any exit fees.  If so, then switching to their standard variable tariff would represent a Get Out Of Jail card.
