I've had the Barclaycard Rewards card since March. One thing to bear in mind is that, unlike the JL card, it doesn't charge for foreign transactions. I used it on my holidays in July and have no complaints. The way Barclaycard seem to operate is they initially give you a low limit (£250), but then raise it once you've provided evidence of income (i.e. payslips). This is what happened to me and I have a £3500 limit.

The Co-op Members' Credit Card pays 0.3% cashback, so marginally higher than JL card if you can be bothered, and you can get it in cash into your bank account and not as vouchers and not dependent on using a particular shop. You do now however need a Co-op current account (you never used to in the past but you can just open one and not really use it). Avoid it for foreign transactions though. Have been expecting this card to disappear for a while, but Co-op haven't owned Co-op bank for 7 years now and it's still there and available to new customers. You also have to be a Co-op Member (so just sign up if you're not) as the cashback is still paid via Co-op Membership - but you can set this to be paid as cash into a bank account rather than get vouchers to spend in the Co-op. Probably more faff that you can be bothered with, but nevertheless a cashback VISA card option. https://www.co-operativebank.co.uk/creditcards/members

The notifications are a feature I like with Amex.
My Aqua card usually gives an SMS alert even before the receipt is printed.  Not quite so welcome at 6:30am when my Asda online order is processed, so I've programmed my phone to wake up later than I do.
