We had a lovely holiday. A couple of blips with first dh then ds coming down with a fever. I succumbed on our journey home full blown tonsilitis but quickly reaolved with antibiotics. We still had lots of happy moments, and for all it was just great to switch off, feel really present.
We would definitely return there, the long boat journey had me worried but it was great, I took sturgeon and was fine.
Dd had since started her first job, level 3 early years apprenticeship good first week, hope it continues.
In good news my bank switch is enabling me to earn quite a bit more cashback. Reward partners do change, so not every week but a good starting amount last month.
We have a weekend camping trip planned in next couple of weeks, on friends land so only fuel and food costs..
Then DHs mum.visiting for a week, then a weeks parental leave to wrap up the summer.
Ds has enjoyed the holiday club, so next summer may book 3 weeks which will reduce pressure on annual leave

It's been lovely to have time off with DS. We've been swimming, shopping lots of different parts, movie watching and lots of painting.
Back to nursery and work Thursday next week so still time for more fun. I'll need a top up of art supplies.
We are sorted for nursery clothes, his coats from last year are still good. I ha picked up bigger sizes as he hated anything fitted so everything had lots of room to grow.
A few things to list for sale this week if we have time.
Payday has been, overpayment & savings all done. The month didn't end too tight considering our spends over summer.
Next big spend is dds 18th which is 2 weeks before Christmas! Have made a start on planning that

£10 overpayment to extra mortgage.
Quick sums, £10 monthly shaves 5.5 months off the 10 year plan, £20 just over 10 months. Our payrise kicks in this month and I've decided it will go on debt
Very grateful to be off today, whilst not fully resting running around with DS it is at a slower pace, I love our Wednesdays. Will miss them when he starts school.
Today we've been to the park, been snail and worm searching (unsuccessfully), have done a couple of loads of washing, hoovered and stripped beds. Collected many tomatoes from my plants, completed puzzles, built his train track. Feels like a productive day all round without being too much and still.lots of time left!
