Ds the amazing little one cracked it, two accidents first day none since.
Saving pennies on nappies as we have them just for nights. He won't wear pants yet, hopefully it'll come in his own time.
In our last semester now, wraps up early august, all being well I will finally be qualified. I've been told to prepare for a delay with our pins, so payrise might not reach my bank until October or November payday.
Initial increase if I stay full time works out to be 21%, following the first year, then a further 10% the next grade.
It's been a hard slog to get here, I'm ready for the end of studying now, one last push.
I can't quite believe I will have gotten through university. My 18 year old self would never have done it, funny how you change with age.
We also have decreasing childcare costs in September, but likely mortgage increase in November.
Overall we should still be better off so will be able to save properly towards our bathroom, and finally able to increase our overpayments.

We've started the search to remortgage, can you believe our 5 years is up in 5 months!
Initial best quote we've been told is 4.01, which increases our payments by £105 pm. We are so close to 60 % LTV, by some valuation we may be there at point of renewal subject to valuation not dropping.
Too early to check with current lender, which I was hoping to stay with honestly speaking. But broker said they will check with our lender when they can and we won't be tied to sticking with existing offer.
Hearing on the news how changes to ISAs may affect mortgage rates it seemed more sensible to try to secure an offer now incase rates do shoot up again. So thankful we had a 5 year deal we would have struggled with the rates a couple of years back.
3 weeks left til hand in of dissertation, but I want to have my full first draft by end of next week as nursery breaks up, I'll have less time to concentrate. its been tough but feel like I progressed a lot last week so hopefully I'll get there.
Also had my interview ready for qualified post and was successful.
Ticking things off one step at a time!
