    Baby arrived safe and well.
Section was manageable my fear of spinal going wrong didn't materialise so that was great.
I lost a lot of blood though, and have since picked up a blomming infection in the scar so it's left me feeling a little weaker than I'd have expected.

Our little one is amazing, 7lb15, screaming his lungs out the second he was pulled out. Blonde hair, eyes tbc dark grey ATM. He looks insanely like dd  but I can still see a mix of us in him.

Going through the exhaustive broken nights, so glad I'm sharing them with DH  but got to say so much harder to recover from. Not sure if its my age or weirdly having DH here. I'm struggling to sleep when baby sleeps as something is always going on.

Starting tomorrow after hv visit  I said I'll be taking little one up to his crib for a nap and I'll try to sleep at the same time, ready to be in the habit when dh is at work and I'm doing full nights.

Need to find time to sort out pet insurance and upcoming car insurance but right now sleep has top priority 😴

Purposeful attempt at taking naps is helping slightly, though I've been woken by salesmen at door or people phoning it's then hard to get back to sleep. Phone will be going on silent and dogs in the kitchen to avoid the barking at the door see if that helps a bit.

Grandparents visiting today, looking forward to seeing them and getting some family photos with little man.

Sorted dogs pet insurance  it was 20, going up to 23, I found a price for 15 same t&Cs, payout etc.

Felt good to get that sorted at a time when my mind is worn out!

Next week other nan is staying for a few days, she has managed to get someone to look after her dogs, immensely grateful ours are a little off kilter ATM, it just would have been too much 4 dogs around the home. Looking forward to her visit and getting yet more photos.

Off to register birth tomorrow morning before what I hope will be the final midwife visit. Little man has been discharged but she wanted me back to feel tummy again, it didn't feel right to her  she was going to refer me onto hospital but agreed to give antibiotics a couple more days. Praying I don't have to be readmitted but with how things have been the whole pregnancy struggling to remain optimistic where my body is involved!

Saw a different midwife, section scar looks healthy and she was happy with feel of tummy so discharged me.

She warned energy, feeling tired faint might continue for a few more weeks regardless of how much rest I get because of the blood loss, it made sense.

Next check up will be 6 week post natal check at gp.

Dh fitted the kitchen window, draft is at last gone!! I've ordered a black out blind I hope will help keep kitchen cool in summer. It's wipe clean too and moisture resistant. If it's nice I'll order the sane for our bathroom.

Little man was registered today, he's official!

Updated mortgage progress, quick daily interest check 23.99 - just divided interest between days passed so far this year.
Although still hard to swallow good to see a little drop based on last year!!
