Got to look at the positive side. Would be good to get a scumbag off the streets for a few months if we can catch them. Found out that blink cameras work quite well powered off a usb power bank and duck taped to back window of car. Managed to cover all angles of my front garden now.Debt Free April 2023 and now a mortgage free Wannabe2

Checked my free experian credit score yesterday. It was 896/999 now it has gone down 194 to 702/999.
I have no idea why.
Checked clear score as they are free and show me all accounts and there were no surprises. No new accounts, no missed payments.
My new mortgage, payment of debts and signing up to a new phone and internet contract must mean I am bad with credit.
For the next few years it is not an issue as the next time I need to worry is in 2027 when I have to remortgage.

I took a hit with my new mortgage and some new accounts despite having no missed payments. It's normal. Don't worry about it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

9 days to go... not much to report, however getting a little depressed at the increasing bills for fuel and food.
Asda really annoyed me. Their diesel was 170.6 before the government announced a cut in fuel duty by 5p. Since then it has gone up to 170.7. I never got into politics before, but this just rattles my cage. Feel like the consumers are being robbed. Used to fill up every friday afternoon at Asda, now will be voting with my wallet and finding somewhere else.

Got paid today and paid out a chunk of about 800 off the loan from my salary. I estimated the amount so that when the savings bonds clear on the 6th April they should be enough to completely clear it.
My settlement figure for loan is now around £5459. Monthly payment goes out as normal on 1st = £262.16 and then final settlement on the 6th.
I want to have a little celebration to mark the occasion. Any thoughts? I did think buy myself something, but honestly dont have any urge to waste money on a toy.Debt Free April 2023 and now a mortgage free Wannabe1 -
