Online Banking Credit Card balance different

in Credit cards
Hello,
Logged into my Natwest online banking today.
In account summary page I saw one balance for my credit card
if I advance further and press the 'pay credit card' button I see a different amount for 'pay full balance'
does anyone know why there are different balances displayed ?
I tried the webchat but they don't do credit card enquires. I also tried to download the mobile phone app. However, I don't use mobile phone much and only have a "data-only" plan. Therefore I cannot complete the app install process. The only other option is to phone a non-free telephone number. I suspect I would be hanging on the line for a long time and all I want is an answer to a simple question. So, if there are any other Natwest customers out there that may know the answer to my question I would be most grateful.
thank you

Is one your statement balance and the other current balance?0

As zx81 mentions one may be statement balance and the other current balance, one could also include any transactions in processing, where as the other only includes processed transactions. I really would not worry about it, just pay what is due, when it is due.0

The balance shown on the account summary page is a smaller amount than the 'statement balance' so is very puzzling. So I don't think it is the current balance. I wonder if it is the balance for the following month.... I will do some more number crunching to try and find what this balance is. I wish the banking website would actually tell me what the balance actually is0

If you look under the "My Transactions" it should show "pending" which don't show up on your current balance until cleared.
As has been said, it's the the statement balance under "pay my card" you are concerned with.I'm writing a book on plagiarism. It wasn't my idea.0 -
If the statement balance is higher there must a pending credit transaction. Have you had any refunds recently?0
