Yale Alarm HSA6000

I have bought this alarm recently and am trying to fit it. I have read reviews of it in and , on the whole , seems pretty straightforward to fit.

I have had an electrician friend come round over the weekend to take out our faulty alarm and fit this new one. He isn't a fan of wireless alarms.

There are 2 x PIRS and a door sensor in the pack so I have bought a separate PET PIR which is of the same series.

We have had the siren and PIR's on the table to learn them in and thought that it had worked but after putting the siren on the wall , found out it hadn't worked.

Due to not having enough time to take the siren down again and re-try , he is coming round again tomorrow to try again.

I have put the PIR's up in the positions where they should go , but would the red light still work if not learnt in ? As noting flashes when I walk past etc.

Also , does anybody have any experience of fitting them and the instruction manual not giving the correct instructions ?

Thanks

There should be a bridging pin inside sensor that will stop flashing and save battery.

Have you done a walk test?

Whit take the alarm down again to learn it in if still needed. Do it on wall.
