What's happened to my front door frosted glass privacy film ?

It's not pealed off anywhere around the edges, how has this happened shape appeared ?. ( I thought my front door window had been smashed but to glass broken). Picture is dark due to it not appearing when taken with flash.

Sorry, but I don't think anyone is going to make out what is happening using that pic. My guess there's some moisture gotten behind the corner of it.

  • Turn a light on and turn your flash off. Or... take a photo in the morning :/

From what you've posted - no idea - need a better photo.

It could be moisture; however the lines between the areas are quite sharp, a bit like of a shadow was being cast. Possibly the problem was caused by the sunlight on a very hot day in the summer?
The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.

Is it not just a reflection from outside the house?
Street lamp reflecting off a car window - that kind of thing.

I still don't get what we're supposed to be looking at. If it's the overall shapes we're seeing in the first 2 pics then I'd agree with the above, it looks like some sort of reflection being cast, it looks like an image from a nearby roof.

Looking at the final image, the film is peeling away at the bottom corner which suggests it may not have been applied properly.

Looks to me as if the protective film hasn't been taken off
