TERMS AND CONDITIONS for “Wickes & Absolute Radio – Fake it like a Polaroid Picture” (the “Competition”). These terms should be read with our general competition terms at: http://www.bauerlegal.co.uk/radio-competition-terms.html which also apply to this Competition.

1.COMPETITION MECHANIC AND HOW TO WIN

The prize winners will be selected from those persons who successfully:

· Log in to their account on either Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

· There will be at least one ‘Fake it Like a Polaroid Picture’ competition post across Absolute Radio’s social platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram) in each entry period (as stated in 3.0 DATES)

· Each ‘Fake it Like a Polaroid Picture’ competition post will give instructions on how to enter.

· The entrant will need to find the specific ‘Fake it like a Polaroid Picture’ Competition post on Absolute Radio’s Twitter, Facebook or Instagram during the relevant entry period and:

· Comment/reply with a photo that best answers the brief set out in that competition post.

· One entrant from each entry period will be chosen as the winner of that entry period and awarded the prize – there will be 4 winners in total.

· Entries will be judged on how entertaining, compelling, and creative the entry is. All entries will be judged by the Dave Berry production team, the production manager and an independent judge after the entry period has finished. The winners of the competition will be selected at the discretion of judges within the judging process.

· Entrant’s must have either a Twitter, Facebook or Instagram account to enter on the relevant platforms.

The prize winners will be selected in the following format:

· Entry period 1 will close at 23:59 on 04/12/2020. The winner of entry period will be contacted within 28 days of being selected as the winner.

· Entry period 2 will close at 23:59 on 10/12/2020. The winner of entry period 2 will be contacted within 28 days of being selected as the winner.

· Entry period 3 will close at 23:59 on 17/12/2020. The winner of entry period 3 will be contacted within 28 days of being selected as the winner.

· Entry period 4 will close at 23:59 on 24/12/2020. The winner of entry period 4 will be contacted within 28 days of being selected as the winner.

2. ENTRY PLATFORMS AND COSTS

During each entry period, there will be a minimum of 1 competition post on the following social channels:

1.Twitter (@AbsoluteRadio)

1. Instagram (@AbsoluteRadio)

1. Facebook (@AbsoluteRadio)

Entry by social media is free.

3. DATES

There will be 4 entry periods throughout the competition and all entrants within each entry period who answer the brief set by the relevant social post will be presented to the judging panel. There will be one winner per entry period.

Within each entry period there will be a minimum of 1 competition social post posted on Absolute Radio social channels. Where there are more competition posts during one entry period, all entries from all posts will be pooled together.

Entry periods:

• Entry period 1: Start Date and End Date. From 01/12/2020 between 06:00-10:00 until 03/12/2020 at 23:59

• Entry period 2: Start Date and End Date. From 07/12/2020 between 06:00-10:00 until 10/12/2020 at 23:59

• Entry period 3: Start Date and End Date. 14/12/2020 between 06:00-10:00 until 17/12/2020 at 23:59

• Entry period 4: Start Date and End Date. 21/12/2020 between 06:00-10:00 until 24/12/2020 at 23:59

Entries received before the Start Date or after the End Date of each entry period will be invalid.

Winner Announcement.

The winner(s) will be contacted directly through the social media platform they entered on within 28 days of the entry period they entered in closing. The winner(s) will be given an email address to contact Absolute Radio by and a date by which they must contact. If they do not contact Absolute Radio within this time period they will forfeit the prize.

4. ENTRY RESTRICTIONS

• Open to UK residents aged 18 years or over on date of entry.

• One entry per person.

• Our employees (and their family members) or employees of any company involved in the Competition, including any Prize Provider, are not permitted to enter.

• If you or any other person at your household has won a prize valued at £500 or more on any Bauer brand in the past 6 months, you nor they are not eligible to enter or win this competition. The full list of Bauer Media brands can be found here: https://www.bauermedia.co.uk/brands

• It is possible to enter the competition on every platform and on every ‘Fake it like a Polaroid Picture’ but you can only win once in this competition. We will select the winner for one entry period then remove the winner from the other social posts if they've entered more than once across the other platforms/posts.

• Use of a false name will result in disqualification.

5. THE PRIZE

There will be 4 winners of this competition – each from one of the entry periods who will win the prize of:

1 x £250 Wickes Gift-card

The Prize is provided by Wickes (the Prize Provider) and Bauer Media are not responsible for any aspect of the Prize, including unsatisfactory quality or late delivery.

Please note due to the current Covid-19 situation, delivery times may be extended and may over-run the 28day delivery period as noted in our General Terms and Conditions. There may also be delays to a member of staff contacting winners once the competition has ended.

The Prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and there is no cash alternative. Wickes reserves the right to substitute the Prize with one of equal or greater value at any time.

Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wickes.

Entrants who sign up to the Wickes marketing can opt out at any time. All marketing content which is sent to entrants will have an opt-out link within the content.

OTHER CONDITIONS

1. DATA PROTECTION.

Names, email addresses, and /or telephone numbers (which, for all SMS competitions, will be shared with our SMS provider,) will be collected and used to process entries. Winner’s details may be given to the prize provider to arrange delivery of the prize. Your details may remain stored after the End Date but will not be used for marketing unless you have ticked an opt-in box on entry. If you have, your details will be used in accordance with the information given when you ticked the opt-in box and gave your consent. For more details, see: http://www.bauerdatapromise.co.uk/.

1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONSENTS.

By entering this Competition, you are consenting to our use of your entry both to publicise this Competition, our radio station or any other radio station which we own or control. This means that we may use all names, images, descriptions, photographs video footage, and other information, which you’ve submitted on entry, in any media, without paying you and without any time restriction. You also agree that we may film, record or photograph you in connection with the competition and /or the Prize (if you win!). We will own these films, recordings or photographs and we may use them publicly, including on the internet, for our radio broadcasts and/or for any promotional purposes. You will also have waived any moral rights or right to payment that you may have had.

1. MISCELLANEOUS.

a. Entries that don’t comply with these terms won’t be accepted and you may be disqualified if we think you’ve breached them.

b. Participants cannot enter more than once

c. If there is a dispute about the operation of the Competition or correctness of any answers given, our decision is final and no discussion will be entered into on this subject.

d. The correct answers to questions must exactly match our answers to win.

e. We are not responsible if you fail to get through when you call / text to enter, or if you lose signal during a call.

f. You are responsible for all costs of entry.

g. You may be disqualified if you are incomprehensible, inaudible or if you appear to be driving, intoxicated or likely to offend listeners.

h. Whilst on-air, you must not make inappropriate or offensive statements.

i. As far as it is lawful to do so we exclude our liability for any losses suffered in connection with the Competition / the Prize.

j. We may cancel / amend / end / suspend the Competition if we need to do so due to circumstances outside our control.
