BA credit vouchers

I feel like a fish on a hook and being reeled in.  YES, I took the patriotic line and accepted a credit voucher for the covid holiday which never happened. Now I am trying to book for 2021 with all it's pitfalls and doubts and BA want ANOTHER deposit off me with the existing voucher only redeemable against the outstanding balance. If I do this I am out on a limb for double the amount. I am considering foregoing the credit voucher and NEVER use BA again.

You may be better posting on the Praise, Vents and Warnings board rather than this board which is for reporting Holiday Bargains
