Please help incorrect details
Hi If someone can please help me:
I own the property for past 4 years and when I moved in there was a elect meter change from prepayment to credit closer to the sale date which was never recorded in the national database.
When I moved in Scottish was supplier and I’ve changed over to bulb. But bulb only took over Gas and left electricity account as details does not match to database.
I was out of the country during the period due to family emergency for few months and was out and in out of country duei to this issue and got stuck due to covid. And my cousin was looking after my property and he moved Elect in his name to a new supplier as a prepayment tariff as he was refused credit switch due to database issue.
So electric is 1 year in my name. for past 2 year my cousin name and 2 different suppliers Prepayment.
Elec Prepayment account is still in his name and I am trying to change the name and meter details to mine and to credit meter however the company is refusing to talk to me and is requesting the TA. My cousin is now in Australia and wont be back soon.
In other words I’ve not paid Gas for past couple of years and now trying to get back control.
Can any one please suggest how can I get the billing correct for meter and name.
Thanks

Get some documents, bills etc and photo of meter to confirm the above and send copies to the suppliers.0
-
Yes i can provide homeownership docs however wont they then consider it as erroneous transfer as customer n meter details are different ?0

Anyone please would that be a erroneous transfer?0

Get your cousin to linform the supplier that he/she is leaving the property; with a date and with a meter reading. Ask him/her to provide the supplier with your details as the new occupier. On the ‘moving out’ date, you call the supplier with your details and a meter reading. You are then free to stay with the ‘deemed supplier’ or switch.0
