Thanks for the link Earthboy, I see Lloyds have given us a way to remove our accounts from the giveaway. I'm sure we'll all be rushing to select that :D

But it's right that Lloyds offer the opt-out as some people would look on this scheme as participating in gambling and do not wish to be included.
Perhaps those people could be given a link to an online dictionary with the definition of gambling then, as this isn't gambling.
  • Not holding my breath!
I rarely win anything. In the days of tombolas, raffles and the like I'd usually be standing next to someone who cleared the winnings!!
Same for me, which is why I like going for the guaranteed wins I can get by following the leads on this site.
Anything else, like a random win from this, would just be a nice bonus :)

    This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

By their definition it is, and they should not be forced to participate in something against their beliefs.

Perhaps they should be congratulated for recognising a potential trigger for what can be an incredibly debilitating disorder, instead of receiving snide remarks from you?

Lloyds bank has 30 million customers - now not all of them will have current accounts or meet the terms for this draw but the chance of you being one of the lucky 5,000 is really very very low!
