Door Prep

Hi There
I have some standard internal panel doors, that need to be glossed. (See image)
These are supposes to be pre prepped, however do they still need undercoating, If so how many coats.
Or can I just gloss straight onto the already painted "face" of the door, if I can what do I do about the side bits that are not prepped?
Many Thanks

With out a doubt I would under coat the facial and the edges in my opinion need priming as well you may be able to buy a combined product and don't forget to do the tops and bottoms1
