I've ordered UGG-style boots from this company (based in New Zealand) in the past and get emails from them from time to time.

They had an offer on Merino, possum fur and mulberry silk gloves so I ordered a pair for me, a pair for my sister and a pair for my friend.

Order placed 16th November and they've just arrived. They are fab!

I tracked the parcel all the way from Auckland, NZ - from supplier to Auckland airport, arrival at Heathrow and on to local courier.

For shipments to the UK, their prices include customs charges.

Apparently, lots of companies are using possum fur in knitwear.

New Zealand possum fur is characterised by its short and fine fibre which has a uniquely hollow structure. This unique hollow structure is what makes possum fur so special. In fact, the hollow fibre structure is only found in one other animal, the polar bear.

It's supposed to be much warmer than cashmere.

New Zealand is over-run by possums which are culled so the use of possum fur is a by-product.
