Applying for 0% card and ovelapping mortgage/rent period - what address to use?

Hi, I'm hopefully exchanging on my first home next week. I want to get a 0% card to spread the costs out for white goods, furniture, pay for any emegencies etc.
However there will be a two month ovelap of renting / mortgage.
  1. Which addresss do I use for applications? I assume the old one as it's where I'll be on the electoral roll and has all my credit history linked to it.
  2. What do I put when it asks if I rent or own and my outgoings?
  3. I assume I shouldn't apply until afte completing!
  4. MSE cedit club gives me a 90% chance of being accepted for a couple of 0% cards. Might this change massively once I've got the motgage?
Thanks, all advice welcome.
(my 'r' key is faulty - please excuse any typos!)

  • 1) I would use your rental address
    2) If it asks you specifically about that address, then rent. Otherwise own. Which lender has asked you about your outgoings?
    3) Correct.
    4) Yes, although you may be able to get in post completion and pre-CRA reporting.

    2) - I just applied for a Natwest card as they were offering it in the app and they asked about rent / mortgage and if I was supporting any dependents, don't think there was anything else
