New Year Hotel package booked, but now would be traveling from Tier 3

I know (as things currrenty stand) I would not be allowed to travel from Kent to Dorset where I’ve booked a non-refundable three night, New Years break. How do I proceed? Do I contact the Hotel and ask for a refund as I’m currently not allowed to travel? Do I wait until 16th December to see if our Tiers lowed to two, in…

I think it’s worth contacting them now, rather than waiting. Not in a demanding- I want my money back way - but to see if they have thought about what options will be available if people are unable to travel. It’s possible that they might have some local demand as people may not be allowed to travel between tiers post the Christmas relaxations, so they may be happy enough to cancel now for you.
