EPC and New Double Glazing

We are remortgaging a flat in Scotland and the current Energy Performance Certificate states it is currently F/G.
For the remortgage we need it to be E or higher.
If we change the single glazing for double glazing windows, is that likely to have a decent impact on the energy rating?

it will have a significant impact.  your EPC will specify the impact on the rating if you carry out the improvement.

The valuers gave us the rating in their valuation, we didn't actually get the EPC although I have an older one I'll dig out and see what it says.

Thanks for that. It wasn't on that site as property is on Scotland but I did get a link to the Scottish version.
I've found an older one so maybe the recent one hasn't been uploaded yet.
