Repairing loose flashing on roof

Hi everyone, not long returned home and noticed something suspect with my roof. Upon further inspection, I've noticed that a piece of flashing is loose and has worked its way down the roof slightly. Obviously, will need to fix this but just wondered what may be the best method? It's obviously the original piece so it might be reusable or is there more too it than that?

Is this something more for a roofer to do? Thanks in advance.

It looks like the wall wasn't cut deep enough to get more lead into the wall. Some people bring the bead down a bit lower to hold the flashing in place, but others say this hinders any replacement. Traditionally leadwork was the plumbers job, although roofers often do the job now. Lead wedges used to be used to hold the flashing in place, but halclips or similar are being used more nowadays.
  • Thanks, will look into a roofer then. Thanks.
